Our dear friend Mira is facing the difficult journey of helping her baby through cancer treatment.
We are offering portrait sessions to help in fundraising! These in studio sessions are perfect for your pet(s), yourself, couples, friend session, or family, all are welcome!
Each session is 20 minutes with a simple backdrop, and you will receive 5 high resolution digital images. The studio is located downtown, and final details will be emailed to those that book a time. 100% of funds will be put towards Maui's surgery and ongoing treatment.
While sessions will be $75, I'm attaching Mira's story below and if you feel so inclined to help donate further, or instead of booking a session, any and all help is very much appreciated.

Maui was rescued by the Penticton SPCA after going for a wild ride hiding in the engine of someone’s car as a small kitten.
They named her Stowey the stowaway
Since kittenhood the SPCA noted that she has a lifelong chronic inflammatory disease.
She was first adopted out by someone who surrendered her for the difficulties.
Since then I’ve cared for her needs with honour. It’s been nine years of receiving the cutest head boops and girl could ever wish for. She is one of the sweetest creatures to walk with me in this life.
She loves sleeping on my pillow and I often wake up pillow-less with her above me looking feather cushion cozy.
Her favourite is summertime in the garden. That’s where she lives her absolute best life.
Maui has a gentle nature wouldn’t bother a single bird. I’m pretty sure she feels kinship with the crows.
Since May 2023 my life became chaotic and I sacrificed a lot to help care for my nieces and nephews. Maui felt the stress and her condition was triggered.
It was a costly year with several visits to the vet, bloodwork, five different medications, and finally a referral to an ophthalmologist for a biopsy showing aggressive squamous cell carcinoma in her eye and tissue. I received the results yesterday.
In the last week the tumours have grown rapidly and she needs surgery as soon as possibly. I can’t do this on my own. We need your help. Please donate if you’re able to.
